The 1-7 Shelf Box System

The 1-7 Shelf Box System

The 1-7 Shelf Box System is a fun and innovative concept of a shelf that is hung on the wall. You can choose the number of boxes you would need to store your things on a shelf like that. It comprises seven square boxes in different sizes that are incredibly easy to store and ship themselves. The unusual design lets you play with your room’s 90 degree angles and bring a little fun to your wall.  Books, CD’s, or just any old stuff you feel like hanging on the wall can fit into these boxes- just make sure to secure the strings.

Kebo bottle-opener

Kebo bottle-opener

Ever feel like all the hassle over opening yet another bottle of beer almost spoils the pleasure of drinking it? This effortless bottle-opener was inspired by the Theodore Low product from the Golden Age of pry-off bottle caps- the 1930’s. With a new and more reliable design and cast out of stainless steel polished to a mirrored finish, this device takes you back to a whole era. Kebo (derived from “Bottle Key”) comes in its own keepsake tin in the spirit of the early 1900’s and would make a great gift for anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship, and of course, fine beer.

Edwin - a sustainable fruit squeezer

Edwin - a sustainable fruit squeezer

Say hello to Edwin - a sustainable and repairable fruit squeezer. Lately we have been surrounded by products and technology that have a built-in expiry date in order to make us buy new ones every few months or so. This kind of strategy is no longer justifiable in a reality of diminishing natural resources and the ever-growing need for sustainability.

And so Edwin was born- an electric squeezer made of wood and ceramics. Its components are interchangeable in case repair is required. In case it needs to be disposed of, its parts can be recycled separately and completely.

Edwin’s simple geometric shapes makes it neutral and adaptable to any environment.

Pencil Dice by Sebastian Bergne

Pencil Dice by Sebastian Bergne

A six-sided pencil is turned into a dice piece by adding an array of dot strings to the sides. It’s that simple and yet it has a number of applications. It provides a bit of fun when we most need it- filling out dull application forms, checking out grocery lists, resetting the electric watch. The kids will love it and no board game will ever have to stop because the actual dice have gone under the couch. Plus, this type of pencil could provide a last-resort solution to difficult test questions.

PXL pendant lamp to pixelate and color a truly vital interior

Really inspiring pendant lamp coming straight from the Mecca of the interior design, Sweden. Created for Svenssons & Lammhult by the designer Fredrik Mattson, the PXL pendant lamp is made from aluminium and metal and playfully colored in a pixel style pattern.

Looks like a good candidate for a fancy DYI development, having in mind that the price of nearly 950 EUR makes it really unaffordable.
